- 2nd November 2006 – Public Meeting, An Talla to consider all the information and studies regarding the turbine.
- 2nd – 30th November 2006 – Public Exhibition, Tiree Rural Centre. Displays of the turbine within Tiree’s landscape.
- 7th November 2006 – Decision by the Board of Directors of the Tiree Community Development Trust and Tiree Renewable Energy Ltd. as to whether a planning application will be submitted.
- End November 2006 – Submission of planning application to Argyll and Bute Council. (If decided).
- December 2006 – Opportunity for formal letters of support or objection in response to statutory advert in the Oban Times.
- Spring – Summer 2007 – Planning Decision Outcome by Argyll and Bute Council.

permission to erect a 50 metre meteorological mast to record wind speed and
direction at the turbine site.
