Once it became apparent that a Community Wind Turbine Project was feasible, the proposal was taken to Tiree’s community for an island wide vote on whether it should be progressed to the planning application stage. This leaflet was produced summarising the project so that island residents could make up their own minds on whether to support the project. 60% of the island took part in the vote, with 85% supporting the proposal.
