The project is a major financial investment.  Depending on the type of turbine chosen and how it is installed the set up costs could be in the region of £1,000,000.

The price of one suitable type of turbine has increased by 50% in the last 12 months.  TREL is in discussion with various manufacturers to find the best model available at the right price.  These include Vestas, Enercon Gamesa and General Electric.
